Dr. Hailey Barker
Dr. Barker completed medical school and the family medicine residency program at the University of Calgary. Her areas of special interest include maternal newborn care, breastfeeding, low risk obstetrics, and global health.

Sheri Bentley.jpgDr. Sheri Bentley

Dr. Bentley is originally from the Calgary area. She completed her undergrad, graduate training, medical degree, and residency through the University of Calgary. Her residency was in rural family medicine, based in Medicine Hat, and she completed it in 2005. She began practicing in Airdrie and opened the original maternity clinic in that community. In 2013, she moved to B.C. and has a family practice with emergency medicine there, while continuing to work two weekends per month for the Lougheed Maternity Group doing obstetrics at the PLC. She is also an IBCLC, providing lactation consults in B.C. Dr. Bentley has been involved in the development of PCNs in Alberta and Divisions in B.C. Her interests are what pulled her to B.C. from Alberta, and they include skiing, mountain biking, trail running, and triathlons. 

Dr. Pan Chow
Dr. Chow is an original founding member of the Lougheed Maternity Group. He is a specialist in family medicine, and has been running his own full scope office family practice for over thirty years. He has vast obstetrical experience and has delivered countless numbers of babies during his career. Dr. Chow is also a clinical lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary and has had Fellowship status with the College of Family Physicians of Canada since 2004.

Dr. Virginia Clark
Dr. Clark is a family doctor practicing in Alberta and B.C. and works both rurally and in urban areas. She was a nurse prior to entering medicine and has been doing low risk obstetrics for 18 years. She has also provided lactation consultant services since 2002.  Dr. Clark teaches Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Advances in Labour and Risk Management (ALARM) and was on the National Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC) Committee for six years, finishing in 2017. She is also on the SOGC Family Practice Review Committee and on the SHARE Committee. She is a mother and grandmother and is incredibly passionate about women's health.

Dr. Patricia Connick
Dr. Connick is a graduate of the Universtity of Calgary and has been in practice since 1995. She ran a full scope family medicine practice in the community for twenty years. She has a special interest in maternity and newborn care and has cared for countless pregnant women and their babies over the course of her career. Additionally, Dr. Connick has comleted the Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Health and Practical Diploma in Dermatology. She works at Mosaic's Refugee Health Clinic and also internationally for the Emergency Response Unit of the Canadian Red Cross.

Dr. Cunningham was born and raised right here in Calgary. She completed medical school and family medicine residency through the University of Calgary, and has been practicing low-risk obstetrics since 2012. She is passionate about caring for vulnerable or marginalized patients, and also works at a youth clinic and at a hospice. She loves delivering babies! When not working, Dr. Cunningham enjoys spending time with her partner and two children, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

Dr. DeVetten was born and raised in Calgary, where she also completed her medical school and residency training. She has worked with LMG for over five years and has been the clinic physician lead for two years. After residency, Dr. DeVetten studied tropical medicine at Cayetano Heredia University and currently works with refugees at the Mosaic Refugee Health Clinic in Calgary. She also works at The Alex Youth Health Centre providing care to at-risk youth. Outside of work, she is a loving mother and spouse and enjoys climbing, skiing, and walking her dog.

Dr. Dianne Fang.pngDr. Malgorzata Esjmont
Dr. Malgozata (Mal) Esjmont is a medical graduate from the University of Alberta and completed her residency training in family medicine at the University of Calgary. Most of her practice is comprised of prenatal and obsterical care in Calgary, as well as working as a locum within family practice. When she's not working in the clinic or hospital, travel and the outdoors are the biggest draw. Whether it's running, hiking, or snowboarding, she's grateful to be living so close to the Rockies.

Dr. David Loewen
Dr. Loewen graduated from medical school at the University of British Columbia in 2001 and finished residency at the University of Calgary in 2003. He is one of the founding members of the Lougheed Maternity Group, which was established in 2003. He runs a family practice at Associate Clinic and has been there since 2005. He is a father of three, an avid mountaineer, cyclist, and skier. 

Dr. Laura Lu
Dr. Lu is a medical graduate of the University of Ottawa and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Calgary. She also completed an enhanced skills program in maternal newborn care, which gave her opporunities to train in low- and high-risk obstetrics teams, the Obstetrical Internal Medicine clinic, the Diabetes in Pregnancy clinic, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She also completed some rural training in Yellowknife and Brooks for three months. Outside of obstetrics, she is a locum physician in family medicine practices. She thoroughly loves her work, but when she is not working, Dr. Lu spends her time with her husband eating good food, travelling, adventuring outdoors, and undertaking a variety of creative endeavours.  

Dr. Siew-Wan Tan 
After receiving her black belt in martial arts, 'retiring' as a waitress at her family's restaurant and obtaining a degree in biological science, Dr. Tan pursued a career in medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Calgary and completed her residency at the University of Alberta. Dr. Tan has been practicing family medicine and low risk obstetrics in Calgary since 2005. She is honored to care for her patients through all stages of life; she enjoys helping new moms and dads stay calm and relaxed, as they navigate the unknowns of pregnancy and delivery. Outside of work, she enjoys dark chocolate and good bread. Outside of eating, she loves biking, travelling, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Dr. Vaze completed medical school in 2003 at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., her hometown. She went on to do her residency in family medicine and fellowship in low-risk obstetrics at the University of Toronto and has been practicing in Calgary since 2006. With passions in women's health and inner city health, Dr. Vaze enjoys working in northeast Calgary with patients from many different backgrounds and cultures from around the world. When she's not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her husband and three kids.

Dr. Vincy Yam
Dr. Yam completed medical school in 1999 and went on to pursue a residency in family medine, both at the University of Calgary. She has been working on her own full scope family medicine practice in the community since 2001. She especially enjoys maternity and newborn care, and has been a member of the Lougheed Maternity Group for many years.
